Instruments of a Brass Band

A traditional Brass Band is composed entirely of brass instruments: cornets, flugel horn, tenor (alto) horns, baritones, euphoniums, trombones, and tubas. The exception is the percussion section, which features any of the percussion instruments required of the written music. All the brass instruments are of a conical bore design, except the trombone and baritone, which gives the Brass Band its distinctive sound.
